We open with what happened, when, and why it matters. Background comes later, only when it helps to understand the fact.
Our method.
ObsidianView is built to publish less noise and more context: articles stored as structured blocks, visualisations generated from their own data, and sources kept visible so readers can check them.
Every figure leaves a trail
Central claims link to concrete sources. We prioritise institutional documents, primary records and identifiable studies.
A chart must explain itself
Every visualisation carries its unit, period, provenance and a textual alternative. If a chart does not clarify a relationship, it is not published.
Uncertainty is written down
We separate confirmed facts, estimates and interpretations. When sources disagree, we say how and why.
We update with memory
Material corrections are dated at the foot of the article. We do not change a conclusion without explaining what changed.
No false neutrality
Objectivity means a verifiable method and precise language, not treating solid evidence and unsupported claims as equivalent.
